Tina El Méouchi during an interview for the 8 o'clock news broadcast on FUTURE
TV on December 31st, 1999.
Lebanon
and the year 2000
Lebanon, as all
countries of the Middle East, will be similar to an eruptive volcano which
may explode any time ; ; clashes between Lebanese armed forces and
sunni islamist activists led to the death of twenty-one people in North Lebanon.
These are the most violent clashes since the 1975-1990 civil war. (Nouvel

year 2000.
