To Read The Marks?
Equipment
For the grounds to settle inside the cup, it would be better to use roasted,
fine coffee, grounded the Turkish way and prepared the Oriental way, in
a 'rakoueh'. The latter is a coffeepot that is quite long, with a long handle
and made in copper. If you don't have the opportunity to buy a 'rakoueh'
in an oriental country, you can use a regular coffeepot or kettle.
Dosage
For each small cup of coffee, you have to add the same amount of cold water,
a small spoon of powdered coffee and, if you want, some sugar (sugar does
not affect the cup reading procedure).
Preparing the blend
Considering that each person takes one cup, pour an amount of cold water,
equaling the cups of coffee, into the 'rakoueh'. Boil the water, then remove
the 'rakoueh' away from the fire and add the powder and sugar.
Return the 'rakoueh' to the fire, and repeat three times. Each time, some
foam will form at the surface, and by moving the 'rakoueh' away from the
fire you will avoid spilling it over. Do not use any spoon as it boils because
the powder and sugar melt straight away in contact with heat and as such
they don't need to be mixed.
Procedure to follow
Pour the blend into a cup placed on a saucer. Wait a few moments for the
grounds to settle in the bottom. Drink slowly and leave the grounds only
at the bottom. Turn the cup slightly first, and then turn it around three
times against the clock, and then turn it over onto the saucer.
 
Wait a few moments for the grounds to slide to the bottom and dry on the
saucer. Once you do that, you can take the cup and start reading.
A quick tip: before you start reading, look inside the cup:
- if there is one or more bubbles forming at the surface, burst them with
your finger so you will ward off the evil eye. The number of bubbles corresponds
to the number of envious people.
- if a sheet forms at the surface, then it means that there will be some
money coming in. The bigger it is and the more important the amount is.

When you hold the cup by its handle, with the right hand, the left part
of the cup indicates emotional life. The right side of the cup indicates
money, work and achievements.

Note
It is to note that the future is only in the short term and does not extend
over 6 months.
The closer the sketch is to the center of the cup, the more recent the event
is (whether in the past or future). Vice versa, if it is removed from the
center, then the event is either old or in a faraway future.
